Throughout the years, there have been various milestones in the CATV industry throughout the world. The staff here at Interactive Broadband Technical Services, LLC are proud to have contributed to a few of these important milestones and hope to continue in the future. Please note that these events may have been under a different company name or with a specific equipment manufacturer when a specific engineer was on site.

Here is a list of such accomplishmants:
  • Involved in one of the first operational status monitoring systems utilizing the return spectrum in Rochester, NY. (1982)
  • Activated and implemented one of the first successful live-video tranmissions in the CATV industry via the return spectrum in Lakewood, CA. (1985)
  • Built and maintained the first 600-Mhz high-split broadband network in the CATV industry in Cypress, CA. (1987)
  • Complied and instructed the first CATV engineering seminar for TEPAL in Panama that consisted of over 60 attendees from all over Latin America. (1995)
  • Provided onsite engineering for the first CATV network in Darlington, Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesboro, United Kingdom. (1995)  
  • Installed and activated first operational HFC network for CATV in Singapore. (1995)
  • Built the first operational HFC network in Shanghai, China for the 1998 "Shanghai Film Festival". (1997)
  • Successfully implemented and supervised the first operational "telephony over cable" in Mexico. Tijuana, MX (1998)   
  • Installed and activated first operational HFC network for CATV in India that transported PAL signals to varous MSO's in Calcutta from a central headend. (1998)
  • Assisted in the municipal build for the City of Coldwater, Michigan. (1998)
  • Supervised the implementation of various HFC networks for numerous municipal franchises in the State of Iowa. (1999)
  • Contributed to the restoration of the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina. (2005)

 

In addition our staff had been previously employeed by C-COR Electronics, Scientific-Atlanta, Philips Broadband Networks, Antec & Texscan and had preformed various seminars, training and field engineering assignments throughout the world. This is to also include being an instructor on the industry famous Philips (Magnavox) "Mobile Training Seminar" that lasted until around 1999.
